  • Immutable backup storage with ransomware protection
  • Compliance tools for regulatory requirements

1.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our services. Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance when possible.

2. Account Registration and Access

2.1 Account Requirements

To use SaaScot, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. This includes actions by employees, contractors, or other users you authorize to access your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use SaaScot to back up and recover legitimate business data from supported SaaS applications.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service to compete with SaaScot

4. Data Protection and Privacy

We handle your data according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

We retain your backup data according to your subscription plan and retention settings. You can configure retention periods through your account dashboard.

5. Service Levels and Support

6.2 Billing Terms

  • Payments are due according to your selected billing cycle
  • All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • 30-day payment terms for enterprise customers

6.3 Late Payment

Accounts with overdue payments may be suspended. We may charge interest on late payments at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP Rights

SaaScot and our licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or service marks.

7.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Service in accordance with these Terms.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about our Service may be used by us without any obligation to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS IF YOU FAIL TO MAINTAIN INDEPENDENT BACKUPS

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SaaScot from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable laws
  • Infringement of third-party rights by your content

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay fees when due
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Pose a security risk to our systems

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data after a reasonable grace period. You remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
